Sylvain Caillol, Damien Montarnal, Renaud Nicolaÿ and Maud Save selected as "Pioneering Investigators 2019" by the Polymer Chemistry journal

Distinctions Polymères

The Polymer Chemistry journal has published the second edition of a thematic issue celebrating the work of mid-career polymer chemistry researchers whose reputation is internationally recognized. 29 researchers from 12 countries were recognized by the journal this year as "pioneer researchers" and their work is presented in this issue. Many of them had already been recognized as "emerging investigators" in this field in a previous issue of Polymer Chemistry.

There were four French prize winners this year:

  • Sylvain Caillol, Institute Charles Gerhardt, Montpellier (ICGM - CNRS / University of Montpellier / ENSC Montpellier)
  • Damien Montarnal, Chemistry, Catalysis, Polymers and Processes Laboratory (C2P2 – CNRS / Université Lyon 1 / CPE Lyon)
  • Renaud Nicolaÿ, Molecular, Macromolecular Chemistry and Materials Laboratory (C3M - CNRS / PSL / ESPCI Paris)
  • Maud Save, Institute of Analytical Sciences and Physico-Chemistry for Environment and Materials (IPREM - CNRS / University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour)
